Mr Williams had his roof treated with spray foam, thinking this would be the end of his worries about his roof: it wasn’t! He called us to inspect the roof and the usual shortfalls of the spray foam system we’re witnessed. The eaves slates and verge slates had not been treated. One verge had to be stripped and re-nailed due to water rotting the rafter. On the area of the roof that was treated with foam spray, we had to remove several slates, some which had been left in the roof which were cracked, and some which had been replaced before, but were the wrong slate color, had not been replaced properly onto the batten resulting in a ugly “kick” or “mouth”.

Even though Mr. Williams was given a Guarantee, the company was not liable for remedying these defects. The Stormflex guarantees a whole roof solution and the immediate remedy of any defects. Call-backs are rare.
